- While not present at the studio, record and post a short (15 seconds minimum) video to a major social media site. The video MUST 1) mention “Coated by Brains & Beauty” in text or audio, and 2) mention that we are located in “Sunrise.” If posted on Facebook or Instagram you MUST tag @coatedbybrainsbeauty for the entry to be valid. Any entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. You may not enter more times than indicated above by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submissions may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Those whose entries are disqualified, incomplete, or otherwise invalid will not be notified.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to those who reside in the continental US and who are 18 and over as of the date of entry. The sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC (the “Sponsor”) their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Sweepstakes Period: The valid entry period starts on April 10th, 2024 and ends on May 15th, 2024. All entries via any of the allowable entry methods must be received by May 15th, 2024 at 11:59PM Eastern Time.
Prizes: Winners will receive:
- Grand Prize – $100 of service credit redeemable for any full-priced service(s) per month for EACH of June, July, and August 2024 (ARV: $300)
- 2nd Prize – One free underarms service per month for EACH of June, July, and August 2024 (ARV: $87)
- 3rd Prize – One free skincare product as selected by Sandi (ARV: $53)
Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Prize redemption rules:
- Service credits may only be applied to full-price services.
- Service credits may be used on Walk-In Wednesdays but not in conjunction with any existing Walk-In Wednesday discounts.
- Services booked using the awarded service credits must be completed (not just booked) within the month the credits are awarded for.
- Unused service credits do not roll over from month to month. All “per month” credits must be used within each of the promotional months.
- Unused “per month” service credits expire at the end of each of the promotional months for which they are awarded.
- Service credit prizes have no cash value and are not refundable or redeemable for anything other than services we offer.
- Service credit prizes are not transferable. Prizes must be redeemed by the winner of the prize.
- The monthly service credit is not required to be used up in a single visit; any remaining credit may be redeemed on another service prior to the end of the month for which it is awarded.
- If the price of a desired service exceeds the service credit balance, the winner may pay the difference via credit or debit card or cash as usual.
- The standard Coated by Brains & Beauty cancellation policy applies to all appointments made using service credits. Missed appointments will result in loss of the service credits used to book that appointment. There are no refunds or rollovers or transfers of service credit prizes.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: Winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 22, 2024 under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winners will be notified via email, phone, direct message, or comment on the winner’s post (depending on how they entered the Sweepstakes) within five (5) days following the winner selection. Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 72 hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return any completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Rights Granted by You: By entering this Sweepstakes you understand that Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC, anyone acting on its behalf, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
Terms: Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Brains & Beauty Skincare, LLC.
